10th March 1975: As Doctor Ruth leaps away, a vampire takes her place in the Waiting Room; meanwhile, Sam finds himself lying inside a coffin, in a candle-lit castle on a rainy, moonlit night. Faced with a sinister manservant named Horst and a beautiful girl dressed in white lace, Sam believes he is the object of a Halloween joke; however, a terrified Al informs him that he has leaped into a man who appears to be a vampire: Nigel Covington, London’s most expensive and eccentric artist living just outside the city with his new wife, a former homeless girl named Alexandra. As Sam tries to convince his friend that there are no such things as vampires, two guests suddenly arrive, the creepy Victor Drake, and his sensuous companion, Claudia, who have come to take part in the ‘Blood Moon’ ceremony. As everyone sits down to dinner, Al returns with the news that Sam must prevent Alexandra’s murder, as she is destined be found in the woods in two days’ time, her lifeless body completely drained of blood…
